I'm Emily, the designer behind Emily Butler Bridal.

After graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Fashion Design, I spent several years developing my skills in design, pattern cutting and garment construction before launching my own bridal label. My aim was to create modern wedding dresses for women who don't see themselves in traditional bridalwear – dresses that feel considered, contemporary and true to the person wearing them.

Today, every Emily Butler gown is designed and handcrafted here in my bridal studio on Rodney Street in the heart of Liverpool. From your first appointment through to your final fitting, you'll work directly with me, allowing every dress to be carefully developed and refined around you. Nothing is outsourced, and every gown is made in-house with the same level of care and attention from beginning to end.

My approach has always been centred around creating dresses that feel personal to the woman wearing them. Whether you choose a made-to-measure design from the collection or decide to create something completely bespoke, every gown is shaped around your style, your ideas and how you want to feel on your wedding day.

I've intentionally kept the studio small so that I can work closely with every bride and offer a relaxed, personal experience. Appointments are private and by appointment only, giving you the time and space to explore the collection, discuss ideas and enjoy the process without feeling rushed.

For me, creating a wedding dress is about far more than making something beautiful. It's about helping every bride feel like themselves, enjoying the journey from beginning to end, and creating a dress they'll look back on with confidence for years to come.
